·      The design and preparation of supported catalysts, chromium and tandem catalysts.

·         Coordination Polymerization of Olefins.

·         Chromium Catalyst: Preparation of various chromium catalysts, and their use for the preparation of polyethylene.

·      The Selective Trimerization of Ethylene to Hex-1-ene.

 

·         Nano Catalysts. Preparation of nano-silica supported chromium catalyst and its use for the preparation of nano-polyethylene, Tandem catalysts for LLDPE preparation.

·         Nano Support: Synthesis, characterization and modification of nano silica supports (such as SBA-15, SBA-11, Al/SBA-15, Ti/SBA-15, Spherical SBA-15, MCM-41 …) and their application for catalysts preparation, explosive detection, drug delivery, electrochemistry and etc.   

·         Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization (ATRP) : Fundamentals and Development of High-Efficiency Supported Catalyst Systems for Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization.

·         Polymer Hydrogels and Modification: Interpenetrating polymer network (IPN) and hybrid hydrogels are also interested. Natural polymers from renewable resources such as polysaccharides (Tragacanth …) interested to be modified (via chemical grafting, IPN formation, etc.) or combined to achieve water soluble/swellable materials with improved properties.

·         Polymers for Controlled Delivery of Bioactive Agents. Macromolecular systems are interested to be designed for controlled delivery of bioactive agents, e.g. drugs, pesticides and agrochemicals. Investigation of drug release by 1H NMR analysis

·      Polymerization & Characterization of polymers.

·       Reactions of Polymers.

·          Characterization of Polymers.
